Child abuse statistics show that 65% of children growing up in the United States and Puerto Rico have been victims of child abuse. Statistics show that a majority of them have either been sexually or emotionally abused. Also, statistics show the child abuse is also a leading cause of death for minors under the age of five. Emotional abuse is a big factor in child abuse statics showing that out of the pie of 100%, 75% of children suffered from emotional abuse while the 25% suffered from sexual and physical abuse.

Child abuse statistics also show that a majority of single parents are able to hold off on any kind of abuse and that most child abusers abusers are black and Puerto Rican. Abuse statistics show also that some abuse is done ritualistically and ceremoniously;  only 5% suffer from this in the United States while 10% suffer from it in Mexico.

Child abuse statistics reveal that there is a wide range of the abused and the abusers, performing a wide gap between the two. To some, abused children are usually unlikely to let themselves be continuously abused while an abuser, child abuse statistics show, may apprehend another victim. This leading to womanizers, rapists and molesters.

Interestingly, child abuse statistics show that most parents that abuse are couples that have the “support” of each other in raising children. This means that two parent families, typically felt as “normal” make up the vast majority of abusing families. But care givers and some church affiliates have become increasingly a part of child abuse statistics in the days we live in now.

This is due to the fact that, with regard to child abuse, statistics show that many people cannot and will not apprehend most cases for the fear of being involved.

Also, with child abuse, statistics show that many people do not report these problems at all or only part of the time. This is true not only for the abused children involved but mostly because people turn a blind eye to what has happened and fail to do the “right thing” when it comes to children.

Most Parents will punish children in other ways nowadays so that the child is able to behave. But child abuse statistics show this is not aways the case. Many more cases are being found out every day. This is something that people should take seriously. Many childrens deaths have been reportedly attributed to child abuse showing that many child abuse incidents in the USA are a cause of toddler and infant deaths. True, parents lose patience with their young ones, but what child abuse statistics show is that a vast majority of these reports go unrecognized, are interfered with or go on without anyone calling for authorities. As for most cases nowadays, the abuse rate is down with the advent of family services agencys for children and their families which help families cope in crisis.
